Volunteer Registration Assistant for
Vision Education Seminars

Hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will meet with the On-Site Coordinator and volunteer your services before the seminar, during breaks, lunch, and after the seminar. Typical duties will include assisting with registration, selling books, and passing out and collecting evaluation forms. We also require business attire when working at any of our seminars. In return you will be able to attend the seminar for $75.00 and receive full credit.

A Quick Guide of Daily Activities

7:00 a.m. Find On-Site Coordinator, your contact. Assist with locating deliveries, which include UPS boxes.
7:00 a.m. — 8:00 a.m. Assist with seminar set-up, which includes: registration list, display registration alphabet signs, door registration sign-in area, proof of payment area, profession specific sign-in area, course outlines, Independent Studies and related publications order form.
  • Go over book selling process with On-Site Coordinator, your contact.
  • Familiarize yourself with the hotel and surrounding areas. Locate restrooms, telephones, and the business center (if applicable). It would be a good idea to ask the concierge for a list of nearby restaurants, where attendees can go for lunch.
8:00 a.m. — 8:30 a.m. Registration begins. Be available to assist On-Site Coordinator by answering attendee questions, helping attendees find their names on the roll sheet, etc.
8:30 a.m. Seminar begins.
10:30 a.m. Approximate time of first break. Be available to assist On-Site Coordinator by answering attendee questions, helping with Independent Studies book sales, etc.
12:00 p.m. Attendee Lunch - Assist On-Site Coordinator with the various tasks, such as placing an evaluation form on every seat in conference room, answering attendee questions, helping with Independent Studies book sales, etc.
1:30 p.m. Approximate time of second break. Be available to assist On-Site Coordinator by answering attendee questions, helping with Independent Studies book sales, etc.
4:00-4:30 p.m. Approximate time of the end of the seminar. Be available to assist On-Site Coordinator in handing out the Certificates
